AusRedact looks for the numbers on Australian forms and the personal details around them. Where a number has a check digit, like a TFN or a Medicare number, the digit is checked, so fewer false alarms reach you.

Optional AI check
Add AI-assisted suggestions for names, addresses, signatures and faces at no extra cost. You choose before payment; processing starts after payment. Australian AI services receive page images and text with already-detected identifiers masked first, but other sensitive details may still be visible. Scans use text recognition even when AI is off. Review every suggestion and check for anything missed.

A black box is not a redaction. A rebuilt page is.
A black shape placed over text can leave the original words in a PDF. AusRedact rebuilds each page as an image and burns in the redactions you approve. It checks the output before releasing it, including approved-box coverage and the absence of hidden text, annotations and metadata.
The result is an image-only PDF. You cannot search or select its text, and a screen reader cannot read it as text.

Your documents stay in Australia
Document storage and processing use secure Australian services, including optional AI services. Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. Payment details are handled separately and may be processed overseas; the payment service does not receive your document.
Deleted within 24 hours
Your uploaded copies, redacted PDF and temporary processing files are deleted within 24 hours of upload. Use Delete from AusRedact to remove stored copies sooner. Your original files on your device are unaffected.
No AI training. No staff viewer.
Neither AusRedact nor its document-processing providers use your documents to train AI. The AI check is optional. There is no staff tool for browsing customer files.
